PlayLimeade — unofficial companion app for micromobility

PlayLimeade is an unofficial companion app for shared scooters in Tel Aviv. It shows dying scooters that may be worth walking to for a battery swap, where the swap stations are, and can alert you about them. It does not count or log your swaps; the credit for a swap is paid inside the operator's own app. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or connected to Lime or any other operator. It never unlocks a scooter and never touches your rider account.
Everything below is keyed to a random id, not to you. There is no account and no sign-in.
Your settings and your ride-session history live only on your phone, in the app's own storage. When a ride session ends the app sends an anonymous count — how many minutes it ran and how many alerts it raised — and nothing about where you were. Deleting the app deletes everything stored on the phone.
PlayLimeade asks for location while the app is in use only. It uses your position to show what is near you and to judge whether a scooter is worth the walk. During a ride session you start, location keeps updating in the background so the app can alert you about dying scooters ahead; those positions stay on your phone, and the session ends when you tap "done" or after 35 minutes standing still. The app never requests "Always" location. You can use the app without sharing location; it will simply centre on Dizengoff Square and stop giving distance-based verdicts.
Server-side data is stored in Upstash Redis (EU region) and served through Vercel from Frankfurt, Germany. Both are processors acting on our instructions.
In the app: Settings (the gear) → Delete my account & data → Delete everything. It happens immediately: every record keyed to your device on our server — the id, the handle, the push token, the home pin, the last position, any email you gave, any issue reports — and everything the app stored on your phone. The app then starts over as a fresh install.
By email: if you no longer have the app, email support@playlimeade.com with the handle you set if you set one. We delete every record keyed to that device: the id, the handle, the push token, the home pin, the last position, and any email. Done within 14 days, usually much faster. Deleting the app removes everything stored on the phone itself.
The data controller is Daniel Conway, an independent developer, reachable at support@playlimeade.com. There is no company behind the app and nobody else has access to what it stores.
You can ask us for a copy of everything we hold about your device, have it corrected, have it deleted, or object to us holding it — email support@playlimeade.com and we answer within 30 days. There is no charge and we will not ask you why.
If you are in the EU and you think we have handled your data badly, you can complain to the data protection authority in the country you live in. If you are in Israel, that is the Privacy Protection Authority at the Ministry of Justice. You do not have to talk to us first, though we would rather you did.
The app is rated 4+ but is built for adults who rent scooters. We do not knowingly collect anything from children.

PlayLimeade היא אפליקציית ליווי לא רשמית לקורקינטים שיתופיים בתל אביב. היא מראה לכם קורקינטים גוססים שאולי שווה ללכת אליהם בשביל החלפת סוללה, איפה עמדות ההחלפה, ויכולה להתריע לכם עליהם. היא לא סופרת ולא רושמת את ההחלפות שלכם; הקרדיט על החלפה משולם בתוך האפליקציה של המפעיל. היא לא קשורה ל־Lime או לכל מפעיל אחר, לא מאושרת על ידם ולא מחוברת אליהם. היא אף פעם לא פותחת קורקינט ולא נוגעת בחשבון הרוכב שלכם.
כל מה שברשימה מקושר למזהה אקראי, לא אליכם. אין חשבון ואין התחברות.
ההגדרות שלכם והיסטוריית ריצות הרכיבה נשמרות רק על הטלפון שלכם, באחסון של האפליקציה. כשריצת רכיבה מסתיימת האפליקציה שולחת ספירה אנונימית — כמה דקות היא נמשכה וכמה התראות היו — ושום דבר על איפה הייתם. מחיקת האפליקציה מוחקת את כל מה שנשמר על הטלפון.
PlayLimeade מבקשת מיקום רק בזמן השימוש באפליקציה. היא משתמשת במיקום שלכם כדי להראות מה קרוב אליכם ולהחליט אם קורקינט שווה את ההליכה. במהלך ריצת רכיבה שאתם מתחילים, המיקום ממשיך להתעדכן ברקע כדי שהאפליקציה תוכל להתריע על קורקינטים גוססים לפניכם; המיקומים האלה נשארים על הטלפון שלכם, והריצה מסתיימת כשאתם מקישים "סיימנו" או אחרי 35 דקות של עמידה. האפליקציה אף פעם לא מבקשת מיקום "תמיד". אפשר להשתמש באפליקציה בלי לשתף מיקום; היא פשוט תתמרכז על כיכר דיזנגוף ותפסיק לתת פסקי דין שמבוססים על מרחק.
המידע בצד השרת נשמר ב־Upstash Redis (אזור האיחוד האירופי) ומוגש דרך Vercel מפרנקפורט, גרמניה. שניהם מעבדים שפועלים לפי ההנחיות שלנו.
באפליקציה: הגדרות (גלגל השיניים) ← מחיקת החשבון והנתונים שלי ← מחיקת הכול. המחיקה מיידית: כל רשומה שמקושרת למכשיר שלכם בשרת שלנו — המזהה, הכינוי, טוקן ההתראות, סיכת הבית, המיקום האחרון, כל אימייל שמסרתם וכל דיווח תקלה — וכל מה שהאפליקציה שמרה על הטלפון. אחר כך האפליקציה מתחילה מחדש כמו התקנה חדשה.
במייל: אם האפליקציה כבר לא אצלכם, שלחו מייל ל־support@playlimeade.com מהטלפון שבו אתם משתמשים באפליקציה, עם הכינוי שהגדרתם אם הגדרתם. אנחנו מוחקים כל רשומה שמקושרת למכשיר הזה: המזהה, הכינוי, טוקן ההתראות, סיכת הבית, המיקום האחרון וכל אימייל. תוך 14 יום, בדרך כלל הרבה יותר מהר. מחיקת האפליקציה מוחקת את כל מה שנשמר על הטלפון עצמו.
בעל השליטה במידע הוא דניאל קונוויי, מפתח עצמאי, בכתובת support@playlimeade.com. אין חברה מאחורי האפליקציה ולאף אחד אחר אין גישה למה שהיא שומרת.

אם אתם באיחוד האירופי ואתם חושבים שטיפלנו במידע שלכם רע, אתם יכולים להגיש תלונה לרשות להגנת מידע במדינה שבה אתם גרים. אם אתם בישראל, זו הרשות להגנת הפרטיות במשרד המשפטים. אתם לא חייבים לדבר איתנו קודם, אבל נשמח אם כן.
האפליקציה מדורגת 4+ אבל בנויה למבוגרים ששוכרים קורקינטים. אנחנו לא אוספים ביודעין שום דבר מילדים.
